Best free software from the Internet: These days of the internet where everything is out there for anyone, for a price, it is comforting to know that there is still many great applications that you can download for free. There is always a trade-off though be it the sleek interface or features, tech support, or the often overlooked ease of installation. But we will highlight some of the best the net has to offer. Image manipulation: The Gimp - http://www.gimp.org - This freeware/ Donation-ware app is the best competiton to Photoshop for under $1.00. The features are robust and with the aid of macro filters there is very little that photoshop can do that the Gimp can't. Online MMORGPs: Maple story - http://www.mapleglobal.com - This is a MMORPG that come straight out of anime style characters and monsters. The game style is a classic 2d side scrolling action game that takes the player across many different lands and worlds. The game play is very simple and addictive. There is of course an area call the cash shop where players can spend real money for virtual items. While these items are mostly cosmetic item that can change your characters appearance there are a few handy item such as a ticket to change your name or for a limited time double your experience per kill. For more software and reviews take a look in our Freebies section. Some of the best things in life truly are free.
